THE EARTH & ME RETURNS in SPRING 2026

Dear Friends:

"The Earth & Me" is a compelling and heartfelt performance work that uses dance, music and puppets to explore a child's relationship to the earth.

Created by the The Shadow Box Theatre's founder Sandra Robbins, "The Earth & Me" is a timely and important work. Now more than ever, for children and adults alike, it is gift to understand the ways in which we are personally connected to the beautiful planet we live on.

We are excited to announce the return of this treasured work as a main stage production in the Spring of 2026. We at The Shadow Box Theatre miss Sandy very much and we take comfort in the idea that her signature work will be seen by new audiences.

Our goal is to find 6 sponsors for "The Earth & Me" who are able to contribute $2,500. Any amount donated will be most welcome, but we hope you will consider joining us on this level if you are interested and able. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law and there is still time to donate for this tax year.

Since 1967, the Shadow Box Theatre has reached over two million children, teachers, and caregivers -- and continues to reach over 35,000 happy audience members every year, broadening horizons and reaffirming the values of diversity, tolerance, and self-worth. Because of your generous help, thousands of underserved children were able to experience theatre for the first time, and many were able to further their experience while participating in our Theatre Arts Workshops. The impact of your contribution can be seen in their smiling faces and their educational, cultural, and creative growth.
